Police Seek Public Assistance in Fort Road Shooting

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, November 21, 2025

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a shooting incident early Friday morning at Upper Fort Road, near Toy Toy Restaurant.

Police officers responded the scene and found a 43-year-old Louis Armstrong of Upper Fort Road lying on the ground with multiple injuries.

He sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body, including his chest, eye, and left hand.
The victim was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre where doctors reported that his injuries are serious and considered life-threatening.

Anyone with information surrounding this incident is asked to contact the CID at 462-3913, the nearest police station, or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

  1. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crimes.

  2. Contact CID and for what? This stuck system here is a frigging joke. They dont do shit ive reported being scammed for a car i ordered by a local guy i trusted and they always busy and ignoring my frigging calls. Crime is crime no matter the magnitude…
