  1. This is just the normal state of affairs in Antigua today and the apologists for the incompetents in charge will come up with all sorts of excuses to give them a pass all because they are blinded by party politics and the politicians have no use for them except for the vote to contine with their incessant greed

  2. SMH….He owe the man an dem yes….Regardless take him to court and do things the right way…..Only God can come down and tell me it’s not someone he owe who did this to him…..Glad he is still with us and wishing him a speedy recovery….

  3. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crimes.

  5. Antigua is no different from any other country across the region. Yes it would be nice if we could hangout at Thwaites corner put your hand out and blindly accept a SAFE ride home in the middle of the night, but that era is long gone.
This is the new world where economic struggle continue to produce criminals, gangs continue to grow, drugs no matter of the many huge seizures at our ports or even warships in our Caribbean waters, will continue to flow.
The Christian population claims prayer is the cure and demanded a day of prayer, where a government with no real plan on the drawing board in solving this crime wave hastily agreed, government looks good and the prayer believers got their day, but we are now seeing churches and even Bishops being targeted.
In this world real and especially hard work is just too hard for these youngsters and this is world wide so they go the easy way, lighting a spliff and get into trouble, then no matter how many gun amnesty the police pulled off, guns are still ending up in the hands of the unbelievable worst.
When any country develops and their government puts 99% of it’s focus internationally and forget about the local man, this man left behind will find then find ways to develop himself and here we are abduction and later kidnapping for ransom.
