Police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within six hours of each other in Tyrells and Green Bay.

The first incident took place just before midnight on Friday, 3 October, when two masked gunmen held up a pizza restaurant on Tyrells Main Road. One of the men entered through a side window and threatened staff, while the other pointed his weapon at customers. The pair escaped on foot with the cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money.

Around 5 a.m. the following morning, a woman was robbed at gunpoint on George Street in Green Bay. A masked man reportedly searched her and took cash from her pocket before fleeing when a passer-by intervened.

Police carried out searches in both areas but have made no arrests.

  1. This is getting out of hand..I believe , if Antiguans are involved among non- nationals in these robberies, Antiguans are to face a higher penalties if caught because they are to protect they country n not break it apart. These robbers should get extensive time in prison plus paid cash for the grief that they cost the person .

  2. That’s the way of life in GANGSTERS PARADISE. We got to change the law, when caught especially if weapons were involved minimum time 15 years at 1735 and just watch how sanity is returned to this paradise
