Police Probe Suspected Fake Tint Letter After Traffic Stop Near Police Grounds
A routine stop-and-search operation near Police Grounds has led to a wider investigation after officers intercepted a blue Honda Fit with what they described as “very dark tint.”
Police say the driver presented a letter claiming authorization to use a lower grade of tint, but the document appeared suspicious. Officers escorted both the vehicle and the driver to Police Headquarters for further checks.
Traffic investigators have since interviewed several individuals and report that they have obtained useful information as the probe continues.
