Police are investigating the destruction of an excavator that was set ablaze at a construction site in John Hughes.
The owners told ABS News the heavy-duty machine, valued at several hundred thousand Eastern Caribbean dollars, was left at a secluded site on Wednesday evening. When workers returned Thursday morning, the excavator had been burned beyond repair.
The owners believe the fire was deliberately set.
