Police in Antigua are investigating a series of break-ins this week that left homes and businesses ransacked and valuables stolen.
In Yeptons, two houses were targeted in separate incidents. Intruders forced entry through unsecured windows and doors, stealing fishing rods, jewelry, an air-conditioning unit, and a leaf blower. Searches for the stolen property proved unsuccessful.
In Clarkes Hill, a residence was broken into between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The house was thoroughly ransacked, and thieves escaped with a vault containing cash and ammunition.
On North Street, officers responding to an attempted burglary at a business caught a suspect fleeing the scene. Packages were recovered nearby and identified as belonging to the establishment. Police said entry had been gained by breaking the lock on a western door.

Forensic teams processed all the crime scenes, and investigations are continuing as officers work to assess the value of the stolen property and identify further suspects.

Again, we’ll hear absolutely NOTHING about resolving growing crimes from Prime Minister Browne. Fact!
How did we end up with such a talkative yet do nothing leader.
24/7 patrols are now warranted to let criminals know that our police and security services mean business.
I’ve never known such crimes taking place in my once safe, secure and sound country. Scary times indeed!
STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏🏾
They won’t stop
