Police Probe Series of Break-ins Across Four Communities

Police are investigating a series of home break-ins reported between October 30 and November 1 across New Winthropes, Golden Grove Extension, All Saints, and Cades Bay.

In New Winthropes, burglars reportedly forced open a louver window and stole electrical items, including an alarm system. At Golden Grove Extension, intruders broke a kitchen door and took clothing and food.

A home in All Saints was ransacked after entry was gained through a shed and wooden door, though nothing was reported missing. The most serious theft occurred in Cades Bay, where thieves allegedly stole about $3,000 in cash and a silver Toyota RAV4 valued at $18,000.

Investigations are ongoing.

  1. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crime.
