Police in Antigua have opened an investigation after thieves broke into the New Winthropes Seventh-Day Adventist Church, stealing several valuable items.

The burglary took place sometime between 8 p.m. on 16 September and 5:45 a.m. the following day. Officers who responded to the scene found that six metal louvers on an eastern window had been forced open to gain entry.

Once inside, the intruders removed a television from the children’s hall and a refrigerator from a nearby room. They also went upstairs, where a 72-inch television was taken and another of the same size was damaged. The culprits are believed to have exited through an eastern wooden door.

Police said several individuals were interviewed and searches carried out for the missing property, but the stolen goods were not recovered. Forensic officers processed the scene, and investigations are ongoing.

  1. We have a new breed of thieves and bandits They have no regard for man or God. It’s a new low when churches are actively being targeted. God is not pleased.

  2. There was also an attempted burglary at St. Georges Anglican Church in Fitches Creek.
What sort of society are we living in?

  3. It’s not as if they were looking for christ during that break in. They were looking for material things that has no everlasting life. Strange creatures called humans.

  4. Oops! Not because the church has been stealing from the poor all our lifetime promising us a piece a real estate in the sky taking tithes and offerings that you have to come down to that level to go steal from them.
Be of good etiquette and stop it.

  5. The Gangsters in GANGSTERS PARADISE will never ease up until we remove the degenerates from high office, sometimes I wonder if they are taking revenge against the nation for our stupidity
