Police are investigating a burglary at the Medical Surgical Associates office in the Woods Centre, Gambles, owned by Dr. Joey John.
The break-in is believed to have taken place sometime between the evening of September 26 and the early hours of September 28. According to investigators, intruders pried open a rear door on the eastern side of the building to gain entry.
Once inside, they forced their way into the accounts office, broke open a locked filing cabinet, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cheques. The suspects are thought to have left the premises through the same door they had used to enter.
Forensic officers have processed the scene, and detectives say CCTV footage will be reviewed as inquiries continue.
