Police in Antigua and Barbuda are investigating a break-in at the Adele School for Special Children, where cleaning supplies and beverages were stolen.

The incident occurred at the school’s Ivor Heath Drive campus between the afternoon of 9 September and the morning of 10 September. Investigators say a wooden door was forced open, allowing access to the nurse’s office and kitchen.

The exact value of the stolen goods is still being assessed. Police have interviewed residents in the area but say no useful information has yet emerged.

  1. This is not the first time. It has happened on numerous occasions, always around the time when the school receives supplies. It’s someone in the vicinity of the school doing these break-ins. They see when supplies and donations are brought in then go into action.

  2. Can you imagine stealing from Adele School. My goodness! It’s a school for the differently abled. Antigua is the CRIME CAPITAL OF THE CARIBEAN what a transformation from the GEM to CRIME CAPITAL. Leadership really matters
