Police Investigate Shooting in Bendals

The police are conducting further investigations into a shooting incident that occurred in Bendals, Antigua and Barbuda, on the afternoon of Tuesday, 12 August.
It was reported that around 12:30 p.m., a 37-year-old man from All Saints was driving from east to west along the road leading from Pioneer Kennels, when a man approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, dressed in a black hoodie, black pants, and armed with a gun, exited a parked vehicle and opened fire at him.

In an attempt to escape, the victim’s vehicle collided with a fence and another vehicle along Bendals Main Road.
He sustained a gunshot wound to his right hand and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he is currently receiving treatment. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the area in a white Honda Fit motor car.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crime Stoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

So many conflicting reports. Hard to know the truth. In any case this is not how we roll in Antigua young people. We don’t need the senseless violence tarnishing our small island home. This weak a*%e government better pull its fingers out in dealing with the rising gun crimes on this small island.
If Prime Minister Browne can send a security team in the past/present to help out to Haiti 🇭🇹 to try and stabilise the country, surely Browne can do a lot more here at home, can’t he?

The alleged victim knows who shot him. Squeeze his ass for the details or charge him with obstruction of justice.

Jesus was an actual historical figure not a fictitious character. Funny how crime was down in Antigua when people actually followed his teachings back when I was a child. But, carry on believing that you can do the opposite of good and reap a peaceful society. Jesus will take the wheel in the live of those of us who want him to. You can continue with your ghetto lifestyle if you prefer.
I don’t need anyone’s permission to believe in Jesus. Believe it or not God himself warns me in a dream the night before your friends do their shenanigans anywhere near my community. God is on the throne. Jesus lives. You should probably look into saving your soul before it is too late. Money, prestige, power are not worth selling your soul for. But, even if you don’t believe in the supernatural, Jesus’ way of life which is love and peace is way better than senseless violence against your fellow man. You should read more of his actual words instead of mindlessly parroting atheistic talking points from the internet like “fictional character” from societies that have lost their moral compass and are in decline.
