Authorities are investigating two trucks captured on video illegally dumping sewage near Cook’s Landfill, raising fresh environmental concerns.

Cellphone footage shows the vehicles discharging waste in an area not designated for sewage disposal. The incident reportedly occurred on Friday while response teams were addressing an oil seepage nearby.

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the trucks and their operators, stressing that illegal dumping is a criminal offence that endangers public health and the environment.

Officials warned that improper disposal can contaminate groundwater, damage marine ecosystems and pose risks to surrounding communities.

  1. They are totally in the wrong to dispose waste in areas that are not designated for that purpose , but is it any different from the sand mining and demolishing of wet lands in the NEMA by the fictitious developer who was supposed to invest U.S $ 2bil in ten years? Remember the Lawless Leader came to his defense and berated anyone who protested.
