Police Execute Search Warrants in Barbuda
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, January 9, 2026
The police have intensified their crime-fighting efforts on the sister isle of Barbuda, with the execution of several search warrants on Friday.
A joint team of officers from the mainland and on Barbuda conducted coordinated operations at multiple residences.
During the exercises, two mobile phones were seized, and two individuals were arrested on suspicion of larceny and taken into custody at the Barbuda Police Station.
The Police Administration remains committed to proactive policing and sustained operations across both islands to ensure safer communities. Investigations remain ongoing.
