WATCH: Police Drain Cistern at Suspect’s Residence Amid Ongoing Search for Missing Girl
St John’s, Antigua – Police have begun draining a cistern at the home of a male suspect in Glanvilles as part of their ongoing search for nine-year-old Chantel Crump, who was abducted on Wednesday while walking home from school.
Authorities have not disclosed what led them to the suspect’s residence, but the operation suggests an intensified effort to locate the missing child.
The police have previously stated that two individuals are being questioned in connection with the case and that multiple leads are being pursued.
The search for Chantel remains a top priority, with the force urging the public to provide any information that could assist in her safe return.
Appeal for Public Assistance
Acting Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers has reiterated calls for the public to come forward with any relevant details.
“If you have any information, no matter how small, please share it with the police. It could be the key to solving this case,” he said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at 462-3913 or 3914.
More updates to follow as the investigation unfolds.

And they are so brazen they pick up the woman child in broad daylight. This is to show that they feel relaxed in their wickedness.
God only knows how many other children out there they must have interfered with and maybe threatened not to report!
Please Lord!!!!!Antigua needs to breathe . This is evil at its highest!
When you prey on the innocence of children, we have sunken to an all time low spiritually and morally.
God help us all
As a.mother myself, my heart aches for the mother, father and family of this child. She might be hungry, worried, scared and hurt but we pray she is found alive.
This is outrageous right now, I find it highly inappropriate for you as a grown individual to take up people pickney and carry them about the place like you and the child is best of friends.
Then now you a tell police you drop she home and the little girl still missing? Make it make sense if you drop she home a home she fah dey? Somebody nah see she enter her yard? this is like a hobbie for them kidnappers every week a sum new SMH BRING BACK PEOPLE PICKNEY!!
Thank for the effort the officers makes
