Police Detain Newfield Woman in Factory Road Wallet Case
Police have taken a Newfield resident into custody in connection with the alleged theft of a wallet outside a supermarket on Factory Road.
Investigators said a man from Green Bay reported that he lost his brown leather wallet while shopping at Chase Supermarket on Jan. 3.

The wallet, which he later realized was missing, contained several forms of identification and bank cards, along with EC$1,700 and US$2.
The complainant told police that the wallet slipped from his pocket after he returned to his vehicle. He left the area but came back later the same day, only to find that the wallet had been taken.
Police reviewed surveillance footage from the supermarket and followed up with multiple interviews. Based on that information, officers arrested a woman on suspicion of larceny and transported her to the St. John’s Police Station.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Huh!🤔
That’s sad especially seeing the ids just a matter of taking it to the supermarket office or even the police station headquarters just there but some people are so dishonest I remember saving a woman s bag just last new years morning right in the dockyard parking lot and if I wasn’t aware some youg people was already planning to snatched it i just hope she hasn’t spend off the man’s money
I remembered I got a guy wallet down marjrty with is id, when I saw the id I realise I knew the guy so I took the walkety to him, later about 20mins the may came back an wanted to fight me an adki g all sort of questions, since that day whenever I see these things I leave them right there an I don’t trust police so won’t take it there either
The amount of bank cards an drivers license I come across I only look an takeoff
Its possibly the first time that i’m reading about police doing ANYTHING rather than ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE… lemme guess that man is a cousin or something
A how when police search some white or Syrian people this newspaper neither say their geographical location or names? But don’t worry I know the media tip toe around Caucasians and expect the police to do the same as always.
A wallet? hmm..I saw pretty often police vehicles driving in front of houses that locals well know sell cannabis. For years those houses only receive 1 or 2 visits. And they are still fully functional on same business. Don’t blame Trump if he mention that Antigua authorities are weak to fight drugs trafficking in the internal market. Anybody want to say anything about it?
