  1. How will patrols help with lights flashing? 25 years ago that area was patroled silently with flashing lights to alert the criminals

  2. Especially where there are events close to beach areas..Police need to be on patrol around those areas…Sigh…..I don’t want to imagine what Sabbie must be going through….My prayers are with her and the family…

  3. It is time that we begin to understand the truism that there are NO delinquent children. We have parents who failed to step up to the plate and care for and protect their children as they should. Parents ought to be charged for failing to provide a proper home environment, neglecting to send their kids to school and other parental responsibilities. It is the neglect that drives many kids into a pattern of delinquent behaviour thereby putting their lives at risk.

  4. What is going on in my place of birth? Bullet Riddled body found at Stadium. Now young girl body found at Runaway Beach. Not long ago,the body of a 16 year young woman was found on the side of the road. What is going with all of these killings of the young folks in Antigua.

  5. Yup I agree “no flashing lights”.. it seems like police rather scare off criminals because they don’t want to have any encounters with them. It is really sad about this young life .. we have to be careful about what music our teenagers are listening to, the type of clothes they are wearing and the time they are out on the streets..

  6. First thing first I am saddened by this senseless act. Two,as a mother you shouldn’t have your daughter out to such event as a 15 year old çhild she is still young and is still in the care and responsibility of her parents. Three, look at the music industry that are potraiting these songs about guns. Come on guys, protect your children better than that. Back in the days you think ah could a ask mi MoMA Fi go places at them age rather worse mi popa. No way. This generation coming up is totally different from back in the days once again my condolences to the family.

  7. Life is not fair, The same POLICE the public have been bashing on, is the same ones that are being called upon to help bring the killers to justice.
Let’s show some support to the police and treat them as our families and don’t see them as outcast in society, let’s help them to help us solve the crimes in our Communities and Country by extension, we should work hand in hand for a better Antigua and Barbuda
If you agree with me, just like

  8. How was a 15 year old allowed to enter this event at Splash? Alcohol was being sold. The Police and Promoters have some questions to answer. She qa last awen at 3am at Splash. I remember being stopped at Lions gate in 2002 for a Burning Flames carnival dance because it was only over 18 allowed. My friends and I argued with the gatemen and police that it was carnival time and we were told the man in charge, I think it was Bobby Reis, said no one under 18, carnival or no carnival.

  9. This tragic event leaves us speechless with sorrow. It’s a stark reminder that we are living in the perilous times foretold in 2 Timothy 3:1-13.

As the end draws near, violence and wickedness escalate. Humanity seems determined to embrace evil, rejecting righteousness and clinging to destructive habits while hoping for positive outcomes. The robberies, murders, and corruption that plague us are the bitter fruits of our sinful choices.

Why do we resist the simple truth? Perhaps because truth, though painful, is the only path to salvation. We’ve lost our way, prioritizing fleeting pleasures over the wisdom of our Creator. Yet, He won’t force us to follow Him; it’s a choice we must make, and we will face the consequences of that choice.

Expect more darkness to engulf our nation and the world. However, there’s hope for those who embrace righteousness and follow the path to eternal life. Criminals may evade earthly justice, but a final judgment awaits us all, where each will account for their choices.

What value is there in worldly gain if it costs your soul? The day of reckoning approaches. The world is in crisis, the end is near. Awake, humanity! Embrace truth, accept it, and live by it.

  10. As an educator, parent and aunt to a few teenagers, it bothers me to see our parents allowing these young children to go to any and every event and dress like adults. A child is a child and not your friend. We need to have more parenting sessions in our communities so parents are aware of their roles and responsibilities. We cannot afford to lose a generation. The children are growing up too fast and the first thing they would say to someone like me is that I am old or miserable. Let us parent and not befriend our children. Have rules in your homes and enforce them. They can’t be too sexy too soon.

  11. If there was this fete going on close by of which she gained entrance and now in attendance, someone must have seen her and who she was with. Unless there were all fifteen year old in attendance she should have been easy to spot. You see something say something.
Was she a loner at this fete? Then perhaps there was a call or text made or even some in advance plan and specific time made for her to journey to a said location. Parents did she have a phone? If so I guess it’s on your account, was the phone located or have you tried calling the # and can the police work with the phone company to get data in a crime like this?

  12. Condolences to the family of the victim. Young people, please be aware that statistically, a good proportion of crimes occur around 3-4 in the morning. Better to be at home with your family in your bed sleeping than wandering around in the middle of the night especially at a young age when you look like easy prey to the bad people out there.

  13. I have one question? What is a 15yr old child doing out of their parents house at 3am? Sad to say, but if this is the life we allow our children to live it won’t be the last time something like this is going to happen. In this event the parents should be charged and put in jail. She was 15yrs old, come on!!

  14. Antiguans let’s be honest we have a history of generational out-of-wedlock births where children are raised by a single parent. This increases the chances for everything “negative” with reference to criminality and violence to occur and it does. The gun violence and robberies in Antigua are from black males and you can be sure no father in the home. The death of this young lady no doubt will reveal connection to criminality and dysfunctional household.

  15. It was reported that the young lady was last seen about 3am. The authorities should question with whom and by whom. Let be reasonable here. A young soul was taken in an awful manner. Let us adopt the mantra, If You See Something Say Something. On the other hand based on the discovery of the young lady s body. Was she in attendance at the fete that was being held at Splash. If so then someone who knows her knows who she was with. Start questionin her friends. Do not let this awful crimego unpunished. I offer my sincerest condolences to her immediate family

  16. I was alerted to this horrific crime by my neighbor. I could not believe that in our little island that this had happened. No, I do believe it. Why? Because my fellow Antiguans are not protesting to the continued foolishness by our present and past governments.
I remember when the Spanish community protested against the hanging of one of their own, the government of the day listened to them. Fast forward to today, Capital Punishment has become nonexistent in our small island and the powers that be wonder why the crime rate is so high.
ALL citizens should be protesting all these horrible acts on our families. When caught, what happens to perpetrators? They sit, alive, eating, drinking, breathing in prison.
Where are our mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, that they have slain? Six feet in the ground.
