Police Conduct Joint Operation and Vehicle Checkpoints in Grays Farm and Environs

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Saturday, January 3, 2026

The police continues to intensify its crime-fighting efforts with a joint police operation conducted in the City and surrounding communities.

On Friday, January 2, several search operations and vehicle checkpoints (VCPs) were carried out in the Grays Green Community and nearby areas, including Nut Grove, Golden Grove, Cashew Hill, and other residential communities.

During the operation, over seventy vehicles were stopped and searched, and drivers were ticketed for traffic violations. One vehicle was taken to the Government Motor Pool.
The police also confiscated several knives, cutlasses, camouflage clothing, and a large quantity of cannabis.

The coordinated operation involved a team of officers from various departments.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda remains committed to proactive policing, reducing violent crime, and ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors.
