MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
Mr. Everton Jeffers, KPM
International Women’s Day 2026
On this International Women’s Day, I extend sincere greetings and appreciation to all female officers and staff of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, while also saluting women in law enforcement across the globe for their courage, dedication, and invaluable service to their communities.
This year’s theme, “ Give to Gain,” reminds us that true success comes through dedication, discipline, and perseverance. Policing is a demanding profession, and the women who proudly wear this uniform continue to demonstrate exceptional strength, professionalism, and commitment to public service.
I commend the many female officers within our organization who have distinguished themselves through academic achievements, leadership development, and professional growth.
Your accomplishments reflect the value of hard work and the rewards that come from giving your best in service to others.
To every female officer, I encourage you to continue striving for excellence and to recognize that your potential within this organization is limitless. Your contributions remain vital to strengthening policing and enhancing public safety in Antigua and Barbuda.
On behalf of the Police Administration, I thank you for your service and dedication.
Happy International Women’s Day. May you continue to rise, lead, and inspire.
Mr. Everton Jeffers, KPM

What a shame that it takes some international woman’s day regurgitation for some hard working women in the police force to get recognition from the police commissioner.
