Police Arrest 12 More Curfew Breakers

Five people who were holding a BBQ party on a beach have been arrested the police said yesterday.

The BBQ party was being held in Falmouth on Friday night.

The police report that within the past few days seven other people have been arrested and charged for breaching curfew regulations.

Meantime, beaches have been closed for the duration of the state of public emergency.

Antigua & Barbuda has been placed under a 24-hour curfew as part of measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease which has so far killed 3 people on island.

There are 21 confirmed cases of the virus, one person has recovered.

  2. What about the white people and them?? Mr Commissioner when will they be arrested and charged or only poor people must pay 5k or 6 months in jail.

    • Learn to spell before you come bashing innocent people. Blame the government for letting in that virus. You think they dont know what they doing. This is exactly what all the world leaders want. Divide and rule but we to dumb cussing each other before we try to help and educate one another.

    • May be they will prove you wrong by telling your that since the City of New York almost as big and Dominica and has over 8 million people and have the capacity to bury the hundreds of people then it mean that Antigua has the capacity. So let them go a head. Does not take much to dig a hole 6ft for them if they don’t listen.
      NY City, 302 Sq Miles with over 8 million people
      Dominica 290 Sq Miles with 72 thousand people

      Antigua 107 Sq Miles with approx 100k people
      (Lots of space to bury them. Why wait for refrigeration capacity if only a few family members can attend)

If there are any white people in the bunch, do the same with them….same cells, same food, everything. None better than the other. It’s time to kick ass.   10. When the police locked up these people for breaking the curfew, they need to test them also for covid19 and if they are tested positive, charge them with attempted murder.

    This is a strange country

    A Caucasoid found with ammunition was allowed to leave the country after a new law was introduced that said automatic prison time if found guilty for such crime.

    Another Caucasoid staying in a hotel room has a cellular phone, computer, tablet, television cable tv, play station, eat lasciviously, goes to the gym, take walks, and wear his own clothes after he was found guilty of raping another Caucasoid.

    mean time at 1735 a man is enduring the stunk of other people bodily waste with 10 people in a cell horrible food cell phone not allowed etc.

    So how come the people that were on the off shore island was not locked up?

  12. I have seen so many post on Instagram and Facebook of people going boating and people on the beach and these people do happen to be white .. I’m just saying. .but I guess the law apply to some and not to all…perhaps the police should patrol the beaches .. cause a few people, more than others are getting away with things ( and yes .. it’s a few white people) not to seem racist or anything but these were just the videos of people I see going boating and beaching … I haven’t seen any videos of black people boating .. however if I do I’ll be happy to mention .

  13. I guess the confinement brings out the worst in us. So its okay for the “littlt” man, the “poor black” man, the “ordinary” man to deliberately and ignorantly spread the virus because of allegations that other people are doing it. Best case scenario, the perpetrators and their assinine supporters would keep/spread the virus among their ignorant group and in so doing, permanently remove the stain and stench of their existence on this treasured island of ours.

    • Then you would have to work really hard and find some product you could export ,to make up for
      all the lost revenue
      that being said I”M pretty sure with out one group of people on this island there would not be the
      other group.
