BENDALS MAN IN CUSTODY FOR CANNABIS FOUND AT DEEP WATER HARBOUR
A 37-year-old Bendals man is assisting police with their investigation, following the seizure of 41 pounds of Cannabis at the Deep Water Harbour.
The police and customs conducted a joint operation at the main seaport last Thursday and discovered two boxes with 41 packages of the controlled substance.
Further investigations into the matter subsequently led to his arrest.
The substance is estimated at $246,000.
