PM to sue political rival Alister Thomas for defamation

Prime Minister Gaston Browne says he will sue United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate Alister Thomas for defamation.

The Prime Minister revealed his plans to move forward with a lawsuit, after Thomas appeared on Observer Radio Tuesday morning. Thomas will be running against Browne in City West in the next election.

The lawsuit threat comes the same day the UPP released a video featuring its full slate of candidates.

  8. My Buddy Alister, can’t tell the last time I was proud of you. You did what the UPP should have been doing a long time ago. Instead of talking, talking and writing campaign song with copywright protected music, they should be forcing Gaston Browne to defend himself. How could he sue you, Buddy? You tink he trupitt?   10. I listened to the program this morning and the PM is correct on several points.
    1 The only thing of worth in his bio is Ali & Associates.
    2 He is not bringing anything new to the table.
    3 He speaks as though he has some kind of authority and trying to sound bright.
    4 It was not a good outing for him, he lost his cool over a simple question.
    6 He lied about getting dressed uncooked fish in point.
    7 Pringle sounded more sensible than him this morning and that is cause for concern.
    8 Mr Lovell has a serious problem on his hand, that may see this team self destruct just before the next election or immediately after the next general election.(Trust me you will not see it in public)
    9 Alister said he had proof so he will have to take his proof to court once and for all.

    Mr Lovell’s major problem is that he has about 7 prime ministers on his ticket which can be a major disaster. Serpent, Franz, Alister, Pearl, Pringle, Athil, and Ms Isaac. These people will not agree on anything they are going to waste countless hours to prove that their idea is the better one. This will lead to fragmentation within and spill out into the public…

This morning on the interview on Observer Radio Jamale Pringle was ASHAMED of Alister narratives. Alister showed NO respect for Jamale Pringle this morning. Alister is NOT getting any Traction in CITY WEST so He will do anything for PUBLICITY. Hon. Gaston Browne I hope You will Sue Alister Thomas. Alister is the BIGGEST JOKER on the UPP ticket.
