PM dismisses UPP manifesto as plagiarism

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has given a detailed response to the United Progressive Party’s manifesto launched last night.

He summaries the document as extensive plagiarism, worthless promises, and guaranteed folly.

  4. Thank you Mr. PM for your detail analysis of this UPP so called manifesto. I hope many who are not so financially literate will understand when they read this or when you explain things to them that they are once again out to be duped like in 2004. Make sure you broadcast this on very radio and TV station as many times as possible. it must sink in to the people’s mind. Many people are easy duped.

Gaston and his ministers alone must benefit from Antigua, because the upp giving back something to the poor people it can’t work just unbelievable ….and yet still he went and implemented some of upp plans saying “we were about to do that”laughable. …u in power dog y wait u will loose your seat trust me and asot will be happy u will see….God let u called it early to his people

  7. Gaston Browne should really be explaining to the public why so many of his promises made in the 2014 ABLP Manifesto remain unfulfilled. He has just disregarded a vast majority of what he said then, and has gone on to make new promises.
    I like the layout and structure of the UPP Manifesto. The TALENTS platform is simple and logic and easy to follow. It is an effective way to organize a lot of Policy issues and to present reasonable programs that we can believe in. This is a roadmap that anyone can easily follow. I’m not interested in PERFORMANCE, not hearing a long list of sweet nothings.
