PM Browne spends quality time with students of the Adele School

It was broad smiles and excitement all around when Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne included in his day’s schedule on Thursday last, a visit to the Adele School for Special Children.

Prime Minister Browne engaged the principal and staff of the institution on the school’s curriculum and how government can improve on the services provided for the students.

When it was the Prime Minister’s turn to engage with the students, he was showered with hugs and broad smiles as he listened with rapt attention to the students’ plans for the future to include work and family life.

The students were quick with responses to the prime minister’s questions on current affairs and the skills they learn at the Adele School.

“Spending time with the differently abled students of the Adele School was a joy filled moment for me as Prime Minister and as a parent. Although differently abled, these students have demonstrated that they are developing compensatory mechanisms and cognitive adjustments to cope with their circumstances and therefore they too can make meaningful contributions to our society,” said Prime Minister Browne.

“I commend the principal and staff of the Adele School for the exceptional work they are doing with these special members of our society. I am truly impressed with their work,” Prime Minister Browne added.

Prime Minister Browne, before leaving the institution, informed the teachers of some of his recommendations for improving student life and knowledge and skills delivery at the institution.

  1. I wonder if this is the first time that a Prime Minister has visited the school. This man is really a one of a lifetime Prime Minister. Cannot be bothered with the critiques who on a daily basis are trying to defy him. And trying to give people the impression what an evil man he is. Nothing could be more further from the truth.

  2. @ Nice one,

Hypocrites never recognize their dishonesty and insincerity. There is nothing wrong with a prime minister visiting a school for the disabled. It’s wrong and immoral for a Prime Mister to use disabled students to politically grandstand.

Why don’t helicopter over to Barbuda and visit the school where there has not been an English teacher since Irma?

No non-ALP supporter except maybe for a parent would have jumped out as the first commentor as you have.

“Nice one”: You are not just being disingenuous. You are dishonest political tool, and your actions and words confirm it.

The bells will ring for Gaston Browne, tomorrow at 7:00 am EST You are so informed and impartial so go figure that out.

  3. Way to go HONOURABLE GASTON A. BROWNE!

UPP’s CONVICTED PEDOPHILE could a never get clearance to mingle with this age group, but they still have him on radio with the nasty Santa Claus beard barking at people thru the microphone

  4. Lady Carlisle was a great supporter of the Adele School, over many years, and the majority of visits were not ‘photo opportunities ‘ rather ongoing care and action.

    Worth every politician considering this.
