Base on this situation, i honestly believe that community policing should have back the Town Hall meetings and reintroduce the National Police base community Youth clubs movement of Antigua and Barbuda 🇦🇬

Although I have my doibts, I truly hope that this is a lesson to the other young men who think that fast cash is the way top go. I hope that more people start defnding themselves so that they cut the nonsense out and start to live full and meaningful lives. Antigua is a peaceful country and we need to maintain it as such.

Did this young man’s father ever try to work with him and guide him through life? Some of these young men in society need their fathers’ love, a hug, and spending time with them. Society and groups tried him. I know of several young men who started to rebel and hang out with bad influences, and once their fathers stepped in, they made the changes to a better path.

I highly commend the Honourable Prime Minister for his initial initiative to get these young gangsters off the streets and enrolled into ABICE. My only regret is that there was not enough follow up and follow through and ensuring that they remained committed and intouch with the program and not just falter and quit a few weeks later. These kids need proper guidance and directive and in many cases nothing but harsh tough love would suffice. They should never been allowed to “”dis” the program as they did and they ought to have been heavy sanction for anyone leaving the program. We also need to read the riot act to many of these parents, many of whom are enjoying the spoils of their children dirty acts but are failing to reign them in. These parents are complicit in their children’s action and often turns a blind eye.
Getting these kids, these young gangsters off the street and into something meaningful is commendable but it is counter-productive if there are no meaningful follow up and follow through. I really miss the likes of former Inspector of Police Greer and Dods Joseph around. Things would have been way different.

It is amazing to me, that there are still people out there that thinks that ” Governments/Rulers” have everything to do with our full purpose of living, but holds no blame when the shit hit the fan!

I will speak against all powers who claim that a man’s ego, such as the likes of the Donald Trump, Putin, and Gatson Brownes of the world is the Answer to mankind problem’s, and if they are as many would claim, then I will hold them to account when their praise is not worthy of their position.

So yes, if we are giving God the praise, give him, but when we start elevating man to be our leaders, then they must be held responsible as well, period.

When we get leaders that everybody can respect we will return to being the GEM OF THE CARIBBEAN again. With rogues and vagabonds making and breaking laws things must fall apart, this might just be the tip of the ICEBERG

Antigua need a Terminator to make the country safe for its citizens. We must eliminate those who refuse to change

There is alot of troubled youths who are slipping through the cracks. I realised it is harder for young people today get opportunities that were easily provided to us during VC Bird’s time. The education system has failed them, their parents has failed them (many with single mother household) and our society has failed them. Until we addressed these issues, the problem will will continue.
