  1. Remember fellow citizens of Antigua & Barbuda, if you are sick to the back teeth of all this fawning over the queen’s funeral (again, note there’s no capital letter for queen) tomorrow, why not pop down to commemorate Antigua’s National Hero Prince Klaas’ monument, down at Independent Drive instead.

A man who stood up to the injustices by the rich and powerful of his time and paid the ultimate price with his own life.

He bowed to no one …

  2. Hello @ Brixtonian, I agree with you. Someone bad suggested spending today listening to some Bob Marley’s music. What about doing some serious Google-ing today. In every Caribbean country today, let us make it a learning experience. Research about all the crimes against the blackman, committed in the name of the British monarchy. From Cuffy in Guyana, the maroons in Jamaica, the massacre of the indegeous peoples of Grenada, to Prince Klass in Antigua, to name a few. Then to find the common thread, read up on the aborigines in Australia, apartheid in south Africa, the indegeous peoples of the Pacific islands. Where are all the academics? Where are the round table discussions, so that our young people can learn their history, so that they cannot repeat it or let it be repeated? Let us spend this needless holiday today, emancipating our minds. Let’s name today Ancestral Rising. When all of this is over , let us ask ourselves some serious questions.
    1. Why are we serving the god of our oppressors and expect to enjoy a decent life?
    2. Many other people were enslaved yes, but why were we the only group that was stripped of religion and culture?
    3. Why are black leaders in all diaspora, not trying to build relationships with the motherland?
    4. If the white man’s book can tell us intimate details about the virgin Mary, how and why is it, there aren’t books on Africa, the first civilization?
    Happy Ancestral Rising Day!

    • Much respect to you @ Ancestral descendant. We are in accordance on this important historical matter.

Like you I’m well read and know about my African
and Caribbean culture. However many do not.

The answer has also been about the teaching of black history globally (this is why there’s so much division amongst us).

However, the globalist educators and the elites would never allow this to happen, that’s why they have created this so-called “woke” agenda to try to halt the current march of looking into historical wrong doing – a very clever move!

Happy Ancestral Rising Day to you as well!

    • @ Ancestral Descendant, That’s a great idea.
There are books, and for those who would rather not read there are YouTube videos of scholars like Cheikh Anta Diop book Precolonia Blackl Africa. DrJohn Henrik Clarke, Dr.Yosef Ben Jochannan, Dr.Ivan Van Sertima, and much more.
