PM Browne Denounces Organ Harvesting Allegation as “Ignorant and Dangerous”

11

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has responded strongly to an audio recording circulating online in which a young woman speculates about his involvement in the death of teenager Chantel Crump.

Speaking on his weekly radio programme on Pointe FM on Saturday, Browne described the voice note as a reflection of widespread misinformation and distrust, warning that such baseless claims could undermine national stability.

In the audio, the young woman questions the Prime Minister’s whereabouts on the night Crump’s body was found and draws a speculative link between her death and the Prime Minister’s daughter, who he stated at the time was receiving medical attention.

Browne dismissed the suggestion as “far-fetched,” saying, “When a young lady can get to the stage where she can think that a prime minister of a country can authorize the killing of a child to harvest organs, clearly we have a problem.”

He said the comments reflect a growing level of ignorance in the public discourse and attributed it in part to rhetoric from political opponents and media figures. “There are some very evil people… promoting all sorts of lies, disinformation, and misinformation,” he stated.

The Prime Minister emphasized that both the family of the victim and police officials have denied claims that Crump’s organs were missing and have urged the public to refrain from spreading false information.

He also raised concerns about the broader implications of such narratives. “We’re going to have to go on a public education programme,” Browne said. “If we don’t address the issue of enlightening our people, then ignorance will not just be bliss—it will become fatal.”

Law enforcement officials, with the assistance of members of the public, were able to quickly identify suspects and make arrests in connection with Crump’s murder. Browne highlighted this as evidence of effective cooperation and cautioned against giving undue credit to individuals promoting unverified claims online.

“This is not a Gaston Browne problem,” he added. “It’s a societal problem rooted in distrust and disinformation.”

The Prime Minister concluded by reiterating his administration’s commitment to transparency and justice and called for the restoration of trust in public institutions.

  1. Gaston Browne breaking down organs and body parts, into their simplest forms CELLS, in particular STEM CELLS then one who is a critical thinker and thinks outside of the proverbial [box] would recognize and analyse ORGAN HARVESTING from a different perspective other than that of a BOOMBASTIC MORON.
The illegal yet legal Abortion Industry, where aborted fetuses some quite possibly with organs already formed and the PLACENTAS from births at the hospital is where critical thinkers are focused on. Not the Street Gibberish.
So, while a particular source for healthy grown organs (abductions and kidnappings) may be LUDICROUS, its sister industry the STEM CELL INDUSTRY is growing with FREE sourced materials, again aborted fetuses and placentas.
Maybe it’s time to make certain cases of abortions illegal.
The next best thing to a fully grown and healthy organ is STEM CELLS for healing.

  2. “It’s a societal problem rooted in distrust and disinformation.” GB

Actually it’s rooted in the murder of a 9 year old kid and the 100 missing people recently. 1 in 1000 people go missing in Antigua…..Doesn’t exactly scream come visit our island. Not to mention the growing number of unsolved homicides.

  3. Mr.PM you got to do a better job if the people are ignorant it’s because they are lack the information you are not giving them. Instead of insulting and criticizing your people reassuring that you’re trying to find out where all those missing people are.Look into the ignorant peoples theories then come back and defend it.
Organ Trafficking= The illegal removal sale, or transplantation of human organs tissue or cells is also considered a form of modern slavery, as the victims often are not able to make a voluntary decision. Instead they are preyed upon for different parts of their body.traffickers can be individual or organized groups.

  4. Why isn’t our prime minister on the side of the worried Antiguan citizens? Who is he protecting ? He should be hypothesising like the people to come to a conclusion to save lives, but Gaston seem to want us to go on as fool loosing our lives as he proclaim himself god to tell us what to think, is he protecting someone as he did for his friend when the Canadian customer wanted to withdraw his money? Or is it comrades well close with private hospital, Gaston himself reiterated that hundreds of rich white men on hotels in Antigua waiting for whether stem cell or organ, how did Gaston know that?

  5. If it wasn’t official, it is now; our Prime Minister Gaston Browne has gone CRACKERS!!!

Why has he highlighted such a ridiculous, reckless and unbelievable story, when all that concerned Antiguans want to know is what progress is being made – if any – in regards to the circumstances surrounding Chantel’s terrible murder?

This man’s empty rants and RODOMOMTADE blustering has shown his utter disdain

  6. What sort of Prime Minster would sit back while 100 people go missing on this tiny rock and immediately refute any information as baseless ? So what is going on here then ? You should have demanded answers from the police every damn Monday morning as to where the populace is disappearing to. You are ineffective as a leader and should resign.
