Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines share a long history, with that country recently announcing the commencement of flights into the island from October 4 by the recently reorganized Antigua based airline, LIAT 2020.
Following the liquidation of its predecessor, LIAT 1974 Ltd., Prime Minister Gaston Browne led a charge to keep the airline in the skies, under the new name of LIAT 2020 Ltd., citing its importance to regional transportation.
