Prime Minister Gaston Browne says the annual distribution of hams and turkeys by the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) will begin this week, with deliveries expected to be completed shortly.
Speaking during the call-in segment of the Browne and Browne show on Pointe FM, Browne said the programme is proceeding as usual and that residents who have not yet received items should expect distribution to be fully under way by midweek .
The prime minister said the initiative is a longstanding ABLP tradition, dating back many years and maintained even during periods when party MPs were in opposition. He described it as part of the party’s continued outreach to communities during the Christmas season.
Browne also said a series of ABLP Christmas parties for children and the elderly will commence this week and continue into next week across various constituencies, as part of the party’s annual holiday activities .
The ABLP’s Christmas programmes are held annually as part of its community engagement during the festive season.

Its been years now that the UPP doesn’t share any ham nor turkey to any of its constituents.
I wonder how come they are so broke. Maybe that is why they are claiming that the country is broke and people are suffering. But I can advice them that the ABWU has plenty money to spend and can give them either a loan or a grant. I guess they proof why they should be in office. So that they can have money. Cause out of office they don’t have money.
