Pilot denied bail on drug trafficking charges

Local Pilot, Colin Murraine was denied bail when he appeared in the All Saints Magistrates Court on drug charges this morning.

 

The 31-year-old was implicated in the recent ONDCP drug seizure at the V. C. Bird International Airport where 47.5 kilos of cocaine were found on a private charter plane that was preparing for takeoff.

 

Murraine is facing charges of Possession of Cocaine, Exportation of Cocaine, Being in Concern with the Supply of Cocaine and Drug Trafficking.

 

Three other persons were initially taken into custody as part of investigations but were later released.

  2. In all honesty , being a pilot to most folks sounds like a glamouros job . But that’s quiet the contrary. A lot of them are overworked and underpaid. So if the opportunity arises most will take a chance . Sad that he got caught up is that though …

  3. I wonder how long this has been going on at run way 10? Very limited low level security over there, it is assumed that the wealthy and famous comes in there and these people are gods and incapable of doing anything contrary to the law because they have enough money to by the law in Antigua if they can afford a jet. Banana republic operation at run way 10.
    At the main terminal such high level security and BW459 well you know the rest, but at run way 10 its open season.
