A clean-up initiative has Commence in St John’s Rural South, according to MP Daryll Matthew, who says the effort aims to improve safety and restore pride across the community.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Mr Matthew confirmed that the removal of derelict properties is now under way. He urged residents to help maintain cleaner, safer and more family-friendly neighbourhoods.
Describing the effort as “Sunday morning vibes”, he encouraged households to “love where you live”, adding that cleanliness plays an important role in community wellbeing.
The initiative is part of a wider push to enhance the appearance and environmental health of communities in the Ottos area and across Rural South.

Lol. Yep the King of England must be coming, so, this government is spending all this money to clean up the place..
Yes GB, we see you.. 😂
Good to have young and energetic parliamentarians. I am not against seniors in government but they must be in good health. Straight to the point- why on earth do we still have Sir. Robin sitting as a parliamentary representative and not cognitive.
I always give respect where respect is due. I think at his age and health he should be left at home or alone to relax and enjoy what life has to offer him or even be enjoyed by his love one – children and grandchildren.
We are playing politics, playing we are operating a democracy government, at one point it would have put this administration in limbo, not now. I also think they will win the seat even with a candidate who is already shady before he enters office. His comptroller friend who turned a blind eye on his operations and conflicts of interest practices has resigned. Still give the people the opportunity to choose someone to represent them in parliamentary debates etc.
