A petition has been launched on Change.org calling for justice in the case of 15-year-old Achazia James, who was brutally murdered on the morning of August 18, 2024. Her death marked the tenth homicide in Antigua this year.
Achazia, a bright student at Princess Margaret Secondary School, was known for her determination and drive. Her teachers and peers fondly remember her as an honest young girl with a promising future ahead of her. Now, there is a call for swift action and justice for Achazia.

The petition, titled “Justice for Achazia James,” demands that law enforcement agencies remain dedicated to investigating the case thoroughly and that those responsible for this heinous crime are prosecuted.

I wish they had also done this for Neltha Telemaque. She wasn’t affiliated with no skullduggery but was brutally murdered and discarded while her fiancè fleed the country. We still want Justice!!

It is sad and regrettable that in a small island of 108 square miles we are still struggling to find these horrific killers. After the early prouncements of who the killers were we seem to have suddenly gone soft and cold on them. The poor little 15 year old girl seem to have gotten a send off and celebration befitting of a Comrade than a little girl whose life was mysteriously snuffed out and cut short in the most gruesome manner. Two months since her death and we seem clueless about what next to do. Not even animals get treated this way.
Looks like antigua is my next stop..
