Permanent Secretary Colin O’Keiffe, accompanied by Principal Assistant Secretary Marsha Joseph, visited the facility currently utilized by the Sickle Cell Association of Antigua and Barbuda. Dr. Edda Hadeed faciliated the visit which forms part of Mr. O’Keiffe’s commitment to tour all departments under his portfolio, ensuring continued engagement and strengthening collaboration across the health sector.

During the visit, the delegation observed the various arts and crafts activities patients have been involved in, which support both creativity and well-being.

Mr. O’Keiffe noted that these visits are essential for understanding the needs of each department and reinforcing the Ministry’s dedication to improving services.
