Pedestrian Struck by Transport Board Bus on South Street

A Transport Board bus was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on South Street on Monday, prompting a brief emergency response in the area.

Emergency Medical Services assessed the woman at the scene after she reported discomfort. Officials indicated that her injuries were not considered serious.

Members of the public stopped to assist and remained with the woman until medical personnel arrived. An examination was carried out on site, and the incident concluded without major injury.

The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, and the matter is expected to be reviewed by the relevant authorities.

  1. Just so one a reverse and knock down my aunty by the gestation below hospital . Carry she a hospital and leave her there. Telling the nurses that she tumped her toe , jumped her toe my ass is just because they didn’t take his name and the bysta dress didn’t take the bus number.

  2. The onus is always on the driver to be careful no matter how careless pedestrians are when walking. Time enough that the laws start to tackle pedestrians too. I don’t know what happened or who is at fault. I know that I often find pedestrians walking very carelessly into the road with zero situational awareness and if you blow your horn the words you get could peel off your skin. Time enough for accountability on both sides, not just one!
