Parliament Debate Paused Due to Technical Issue
The parliamentary debate faced an unexpected interruption today when technical difficulties with the microphone system forced a suspension. The issue arose while Minister Gaston Browne was addressing the chamber.
Efforts to resolve the problem were promptly initiated, but Speaker of the House deemed it necessary to suspend proceedings until the technical glitch could be rectified. Members of Parliament were advised to stand by for further updates.
It remains unclear how long the suspension will last, but technicians are reportedly working to restore normalcy as soon as possible.

This is 2024 and we just cannot get certain things right. Sir Gerald has on more then one occasion complained about the microphones and the AC. And till this date we have not fixed these little things. Just a couple of hundred of thousands of dollars will buy you a new hansard system
What is Hansard? Hansard is a “substantially verbatim” report of what is said in Parliament. Members’ words are recorded, and then edited to remove repetitions and obvious mistakes, albeit without taking away from the meaning of what is said.
Did I not hear the country have surplus here and surplus there and Parliament is brought to a halt because of an old microphone system?
Well, suppose the country was broke?
Another regional blackeye.
Trupz.
Microphone sensed the lying rhetoric that was to come and said. Not you today .
