Oyster Yachts has launched the Oyster World Rally 2026–27, marking the fifth edition of its fully supported, owners-only circumnavigation.
The 23-yacht fleet departed Antigua to begin a 16-month, 27,000-nautical-mile voyage across multiple oceans, following a weather-optimized route designed to maximize cruising time at each stop. The start also marked a milestone for the brand, with owner and chairman Richard Hadida joining the rally with his family for the first time.
The departure was watched by the Governor General, invited guests and the Oyster team, with traditional Antiguan dancers and steel pan music setting the scene at the marina.
The fleet includes owners from eight countries and yachts ranging from 50 to 90 feet, including 15 new-generation models such as the Oyster 565, 595, 675 and flagship 885. Oyster provides end-to-end support, from owner preparation and training to technical and logistics teams stationed throughout the route.
Several yachts arrived in Antigua after competing in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, where Oysters claimed the top three places in Cruising Class B.
