Over 7 pounds of cannabis was seized by police at V.C. Bird International Airport on Monday.
Officers attached to the Narcotics and K-9 Unit were conducting one of their routine inspections at Customs Bonded Warehouse when one of the K-9 dogs detected eleven packages of cannabis hidden among a sheet set.
The substance weighed a total of 7-3/4 pounds and carries an estimated wholesale value of $31,000. The illegal drug was taken to police station pending further investigations.
