Over 250 Pounds of Garbage Cleared from Antigua’s Coastline by Sandals Foundation Volunteers

Close to 50 Sandals Foundation volunteers across Antigua, went out this past weekend clearing  more than 250 pounds of garbage from the Dredge bay coastline.

Joining the world’s largest  volunteer mission, the effort brings welcome relief to the island’s marine ecosystem and the overall  health of our beaches.

  1. Thank you to our environmental warriors. We must all join this endeavour to clean our beautiful twin island State. Cleanliness is next to Godliness and these days it has additional meaning.

  2. Then unseen garage that is dumped bh the hotels are even worst- Returning brime ( highly concentrated salt water ) and in some cases sewage water into the nearby sea. Mckennons from the hotels in that vicinity and the lagoon down Deep bay . The environmental authorities needs to investigate .
