
Airport Drug Bust
Over 120 pounds of Cannabis were seized during a drugs operation between the Police and Customs at the V.C. Bird International Airport over the weekend.
On Friday 8th October, several vacuum sealed packages with the controlled substances were detected among two separate shipment at the cargo shed.
One parcel weighed 95 ½ pounds, while the other weighed at 25 ¼ pounds with an overall estimated street value of $724,500.00.
The drugs were taken to police headquarters. Investigations are ongoing

Why is it that after these seizures and all the multiple investigations, there is no reporting on any charges or arrests or convictions of these cases? What happens to the drugs? There is no reporting to the public, as a method of transparency, of how and when they are disposed.
