St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Saturday, December 13, 2025

The police have arrested and charged 29-year-old Otis Jackson of Ottos in connection with the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Reports indicate that around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, police officers were on mobile patrol in the Tindall Road area when they intercepted and searched a vehicle occupied by the accused.

During the search, officers discovered one (1) 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol along with seven (7) matching rounds of ammunition.

Jackson was subsequently arrested and taken into custody and later formally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. The firearm and ammunition were seized, and the vehicle was taken to Police Headquarters for safekeeping.

He is expected to appear before the court to answer to the charges.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues to intensify its efforts to remove illegal firearms from the nation’s streets and is encouraging members of the public to continue cooperating with the police by providing timely and credible information.

  1. Merry Christmas Otis, you are going to miss a few outside Christmas.. I wonder if you didn’t see how many people got caught so far.. anyway don’t drop the soap…

  2. Many more there to catch police just need to rais these weeds spots and do more stop and searches especially after events.

  3. Who knows about the disappearance of Kemba Marshall who was 13 years old when he was last seen in Bolans on February 13th 2024?

Who killed Yenifer Berenice Aquino Bridge who was 17 years old and who was found dumped on the roadside on June 28th 2024? In my opinion her mother should be charged for gross neglect among other stuff.

Who killed Achazia James who was 15 years old and who was found on a beach on August19th 2024 with a severed hand? Which gang members?

Who knows about the disappearance of Donna Marie Christian who was last seen in Marble Hill on November 4th 2024?

Who else was involved in the killing of the Hon Asot A. Michael on November 5th 2024?

Who knows about the disappearance of LGBT activist Orden David who was last seen on January 25th 2025? His phone last pinged in Glanvilles and his car was found burnt further west in Pares Village.

Who killed Keon Richards who was last seen on February 26th 2025?

Who else is involved in the horrific brutal murder of nine year old Chantel Crump besides the 19 year old hispanic who knew Orden and Keon . Angela Mejia took police to where Chantel’s body was dumped on March 15th 2025. Meija lived with one Simbad Gellizeau in Glanvilles not far from the cell tower.

Who killed “sick and suffering peace to the dead” Jahkeem Browne on March 24th 2025 . Body found dumped riddled with bullets. Obviously where body was found was not where he was killed.

Why are there no arrests for the disappearance of 21 year old Trinidadian Thomas Vasquez who was last seen on April 14th 2025 on a weed farm in Glanvilles where Jahkeem’s mother has land which she leased for farming? Thomas worked with the Trinidadian professed rastafarian priest who brought him to Antigua on that vegetable farm and this rastafarian Andre Solomon lived in the metal dome shaped building erected on Jahkeem mother land . There are videos of Thomas harvesting pumpkin on that farm. Jahkeem father also worked on that vegetable farm and according to a well placed source, Jahkeem mother said “we used to have him working on the farm”. Vegetable farming ceased and Solomon cultivated marijuana and erected containers and a house immediately west of Jahkeem mother land. There is no fence.

Is Thomas disappearance linked to Jahkeem’s murder? Was it mistaken identity?

If I had power with no political interference, Antigua and Barbuda would be a real place. And there would be more answers than questions.

  4. This government has always been soft on crime from the get go, because they themselves are criminals.

If they had a real spine, they would have already seek for the same sentencing measures that Jamaica implemented to try and curb the gun violence in their island.

We know many wanted criminals from Jamaica end up in Antigua, many of them are running from reprisal killings and other gang members, not to mention the long arms of the law in Jamaica.
We all see this coming, but this government was too busy giving out knighthood to the likes of the most inept AG Antigua has ever seen.

But hey, this is the government y’all wanted, so there it is.
