Opposition Leader to convene PAC Meeting on Thursday;
public and press are all invited
The Hon. Jamale Pringle, Leader of the Opposition and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), will convene a meeting of that body on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at the House of Parliament on Queen Elizabeth Highway.
MP Pringle, through the Clerk of Parliament, has notified all members scheduled to be at the meeting and has presented the Agenda in advance for their perusal.
Matters to be raised include: Blue Ocean Dredging Progress; Ministry of Works Construction & Maintenance Projects; Building on Friars Hill Road that houses the Ministry of Lands; Government Statutory Boards; Financing of the Ministry of Health; Financing of the Antigua and Barbuda Forensic Services; Financing of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda; and Financing of the Antigua and Barbuda Fire Department.
The PAC Meeting is open to members of the public, and all electronic and print media houses and journalists are invited to attend.

Much to do about nothing. Pringle cannot even construct two good sentences written in proper English much less look over and decipher complex contracts & budgets. This lesser doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to debate the budget now we are expecting him to come up with an ah ha moment to get the government to abandon ship.

Antigua urgently needs a viable opposition party, before the potential of this great country spirals into more disarray, as the citizens have witnessed over the last 11 or so years.
The Gaston Browne forelock tuggers and his cult followers can wail, holler and shout as much as they want, but the sensible amongst us do not want to see a one-party state develope here.

So he is saying that for 13 years he could not get the other members of the committee to attend a meeting, and he could not find a way to get the nation to understand this and on his side to make it happen.
But now he’s calling a meeting to get other people to help him do what he AS LEADER should do.
