Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle Welcomes New Office Space on Independence Avenue
Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has welcomed the announcement of his new office space on Independence Avenue, bringing an end to years of dissatisfaction with his current office on Market Street. Pringle had frequently voiced concerns over the condition of the Market Street office, citing its unsuitability for his role.
The new office will be located in the Charlesworth Samuel House, recently acquired by the government. The building is currently undergoing refurbishment to prepare it for use. Pringle expressed optimism about the progress, stating, “There has been some movement on the office of the Leader of the Opposition. The government has acquired the building on Independence Avenue, and they are working to get it refurbished as quickly as possible.”
Until the renovations are complete, Pringle continues to operate from All Saints but expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming transition. “I like the name of the building,” he added, signaling his approval of the new office’s future home.
The Charlesworth Samuel House is expected to provide a more suitable and functional workspace for the Opposition Leader, addressing long-standing complaints about the inadequacies of his previous location.
