Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle Meets EU Ambassador Fiona Ramsey
Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle met earlier today with Fiona Ramsey, the newly appointed European Union Ambassador to the Eastern Caribbean, as discussions focused on geopolitical developments and concerns surrounding travel access for Antiguans and Barbudans.
The meeting followed a series of recent high-level courtesy calls by Ramsey with the country’s senior leadership, including Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Foreign Affairs Minister E. P. Chet Greene, where both sides reaffirmed the long-standing partnership between Antigua and Barbuda and the European Union.
Against that backdrop, Pringle described the engagement as timely, noting heightened international tensions and growing scrutiny around travel and mobility affecting Caribbean nationals.

I like the look of this photo-op of the leader of the opposition party, the Honourable Jamal Pringle meeting up with the European Union 🇪🇺 Ambassador Fiona Ramsey.
Mr Pringle looks like a man destined to lead this once great country of ours (if you go way back to V.C. ‘Papa’ Bird). I can visualise in the not too distant future, that he’ll bring back accountability; transparency (including Freedom of Information requests); looking into other sectors that’ll bring growth and REAL prosperity as well as a higher percentage of employment.
You are looking Prime Ministerial sir 👏🏾
