Opposition Leader Invites Public to Attend Upcoming Parliamentary Committee Meeting

Hon. Jamale Pringle, Leader of the Opposition in Antigua and Barbuda, has extended an invitation to citizens and residents to attend the next meeting of the Public Accounts Committee.

The session is scheduled for Thursday, 25 September 2025, and will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the House of Parliament.

In a public statement, Mr. Pringle encouraged members of the community to participate, emphasising the importance of transparency and accountability in parliamentary oversight. The Public Accounts Committee plays a key role in reviewing government expenditures and ensuring that public funds are used effectively.

    • It is also very important for the Opposition Leader to be able to READ, SPEAK, REASON and COMPREHEND. Sadly, he is severely lacking in these basic areas.

  3. Hope Pringle listened Hon.Gaston Browne on His delivery at the UN. Can Pringle do this ? This a question Antiguan should ask. What is Pringle opinion on Climate change ? What a shameful Opposition Leader We have in Antigua. Not fit for purpose.

  4. Dear Mr. Pringle can you do your job and ensure that Statutory corporations table their audited financial statements in court as required by law. Start with National Parks, CMC and State Insurance. And then demand forensic audits.

  7. oh dear! The Press Release Opposition Leader strikes again. Hiding behind SCRIPTS and PUPPET STRINGS of the Man Cow.

  8. What lesson did he missed the first time. The public really has not appetite to go listen to some parliamentarians at work. It doesn’t show or proof anything. Do you job and if there is something you need to reveal and bring to the Publics attention you do so.
    What you should do is educate yourself in how to read the budget. So that when time comes to debate that most important document of the Cabinet, you can make a meaningful contribution. And not just grandstanding. If you think being in government was easy, come again. Prime Minister Browne has raised the standard and it shows you guys up each time in parliament when you get up to debate.
