Service Cutbacks Continue Due to Manpower Shortage at General Post Office and Island Outposts. Despite weeks of protest by employees over substandard working conditions, services at the General Post Office and other island outposts remain affected. The determination of the workforce persists as they continue their industrial action to bring about improvements. Alrick Daniel, General Secretary of the Antigua Trades and Labour Union, shares their efforts to collaborate with management on acquiring a suitable facility to accommodate the protesting staff and minimize disruptions to postal services.
