Police are searching for Dante Hunkins of Golden Grove after he escaped from custody at the St John’s Police Station over the weekend.
Officers said Mr Hunkins was one of three men who broke out of the station’s lock-up at about 17:00 on Saturday.
The other two men, Devonjay Bird and Pete Cummings, both of Nut Grove, were recaptured on Monday, police confirmed.
Mr Hunkins remains at large.
Police said the two men who were rearrested are expected to be charged with escaping lawful confinement and malicious damage, after an area of the cell was damaged during the escape.
Members of the public with information on Mr Hunkins’ whereabouts are being urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department on 462-3913 or 462-3914, or Crime Stoppers on 800-TIPS (8477).

Then they get bail only to go back on the road and terrorize law abiding citizens.
It is rather surprising that prisoners can break out of a holding facility as easy as these lads were able to do so. The St John’s Police station was only recently remodeled and renovated and I would have thought that the holding facility would have been made more secure, guarded, protected and solid. The place must be like an open fowl coop.
