Holiday decorations transformed Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre in recent days as staff took part in the facility’s annual Christmas decorating challenge.
The Oncology Department emerged as the overall winner, with the Maternity Ward finishing second and the Emergency Department placing third.
Hospital administrators said the competition added warmth to patient areas and provided a morale boost for employees during the demanding Christmas period.
