LOOP CARIBBEAN: Antigua and Barbuda said members of embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ family were on his private jet when it landed in the country earlier this week.

Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister’s Office Ambassador Lionel Hurst provided the update to reporters at yesterday’s post cabinet media briefing.

There was speculation that Diddy, who is the subject of several lawsuits over accusations including physical abuse, sexual assault and sex trafficking, was in Antigua and Barbuda as his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security Investigations agents. US media reported the raids were in connection with a human trafficking case.

Photos later showed the rapper and music mogul was in Miami while his plane was heading to the Caribbean.

The Antiguan official did not say which members of Diddy’s family were visiting in an effort to preserve their privacy, prevent a spectacle and protect Antigua and Barbuda’s reputation.
