The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is resuming the collection of Derelict Vehicles in District 1 starting from September 11, 2023.
District 1 encompasses Old Road, Cades Bay, Urlings, Johnson’s Point, Crabbe Hill, Bolans, Jennings, Ebenezer, Creekside, Golden Grove, Cashew Hill, Bathlodge, and Bendals.
As per the Litter Control and Prevention Act no.3 of 2019, Section 13 (1), owners of derelict vehicles in public places that deface the environment must remove them within 24 hours of receiving a notice from the local authority. For more information, contact NSWMA at (268) 562-1347.
