The Traffic Management plan for the week ahead beginning 28TH October to 1ST November 2019 includes but is not limited to:
– Work on Friars Hill Road
Roadworks will include the continuation of (Milling/ Baseworks and paving) (Phase 1D) between Cedar Valley Junction and West Indies Oil Pond on Friars Hill Road.
Local access will be maintained; however residents within closure are asked to enter/ exit closure from the south (near West Indies Oil Pond)
Duration: 1 week
Diversion: Marble Hill Rd.
– Work on Sir George Water Highway:
Roundabout construction at VC Bird International Airport has come to a pause until phase 1 of roundabout is complete, this will allow for a smooth traffic flow of both north and southbound traffic.
Drainage works will take place in the following areas:
Monday 28th October 2019
- Crossroad culvert to be installed south of solar farm
Duration: 3 Days
Diversion: Track created for north and southbound traffic
Wednesday 30th October 2019
- Crossroad culvert to be installed south of LIAT/Ceily Building
Duration: 3 Days
