Road infrastructure rehabilitation work is continuing on Friars Hill Road and Sir George Walter Highway for the week 11th – 15th May 2020. The public is asked to take note that a section of Friars Hill Road (near Village Walk Shopping Centre) will remain closed for another week to facilitate paving works.

This week roadworks will begin from Solid Waste Office to Dees Gas Station junction working on the southbound lane with the use of temporary traffic lights.

Bus Lay by construction will begin near APUA Junkyard located on Sir George Walter Highway. Work in this area is expected to take for days with the use mobile traffic lights while maintaining single lane traffic.

Traffic signs are installed for safety and direction. Road users are urged to proceed with caution and be mindful of the safety of road construction workers.
